D.J. Demers

D.J. DEMERS is a stand-up comedian and a television personality on AMI-tv.

D.J. has been recognized as an outstanding performer in Canada and the U.S. He was the winner of the 2014 Homegrown Comics Competition at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. After winning the competition, D.J. was invited to perform at a TV taping, the first time that has happened in festival history.

D.J. was also the winner of the 2013 Toronto Comedy Brawl, he performed in JFL42 in 2013, was a finalist in NBC's Stand-Up for Diversity, and was nominated for 'Best Stand-Up Newcomer' at the 2011 Canadian Comedy Awards. He has appeared on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud, and performed stand-up during Canadian Music Week and the North By Northeast Music festival.

On the third Wednesday of every month, D.J. hosts a stand-up show with Chuckle Co. at Comedy Bar in Toronto, featuring the best comedians in Canada.

He also wears hearing aids.
